Care that feels like more than a checklist.

Every visit is guided by genuine attention — not a checklist, but care for someone who feels seen, cared for, and comfortable at home. Here's what that looks like day to day.

Personal Care

Help with bathing, dressing, and moving around safely — handled with patience and dignity.

Companionship

A friendly, familiar face for conversation, hobbies, and days that feel a little less lonely.

Household Help

Tidying, laundry, and a home-cooked meal, so the house still feels cared for.

Errands & Rides

A ride to an appointment, groceries picked up, a prescription collected — handled without the hassle.

Respite Support

A trustworthy break for the people who usually do the caregiving — day or evening.

Wellness & Safety

An extra set of eyes for routines, safety, and the small changes worth noticing.

Getting started

How it works

1

Connect

Call us or send a quick request online. We'll ask a few simple questions about what your family needs.

2

Free In-Home Assessment

We visit in person to learn about routines, preferences, and scheduling, then build a care plan around your loved one.

3

Care Begins

We match your loved one with a caregiver who fits their needs and personality. Care can often start within about three days.

We stay in close contact after care begins, and the plan can always be adjusted as things change.

Grace Caregiving started the way many important things do — at home, caring for people we love.

Our story

From our family to yours.

We started out caring for seniors and their families, and over the years that experience grew into Grace Caregiving. We're proud of the company we've built, and even prouder of the families who've trusted us along the way.

Then caregiving became personal. We walked beside our mom through cancer and hospice, and learned how much it means to have someone gentle and steady in the room. We also help care for our grandmother in assisted living from ten hours away, and we're so thankful for the kind, caring people who look after her when we can't be there.

Those seasons shape how we care. We bring patience, honest updates, and the belief that every person deserves to be treated the way we'd want our own family treated. When you call us, we understand what is behind the call, and you won't be walking this path alone.

What we believe

Small enough to stay close.

Why home matters

Familiar surroundings bring comfort and dignity that a facility can't always match. Our goal is to help people stay in the home they love, safely.

Dependable caregivers

We match caregivers to routines and personalities, not just a schedule slot, and we pay above market rates to attract and keep the best.

Real conversations

Being a small business means you can call and actually reach someone who knows your situation.

Our foundation

Rooted in Christian values, open to everyone.

Grace Caregiving is a local, family-owned business built on values of patience, dignity, and respect. That foundation shapes how we treat the people in our care and the people who work alongside us — it isn't a requirement for the families we serve.

However you find comfort, our door is open. Every person we care for should be treated the way we'd want our own family treated.

You shouldn't have to wonder how things are going. We'll tell you.

FAQ

Questions families often ask.

Can't find your answer? Call or text us and we'll be glad to talk it through.

What kind of care do you provide?

We provide non-medical in-home care for seniors: help with bathing, dressing and getting around safely, companionship, meal preparation, light housekeeping and laundry, errands, and transportation to appointments. Our Services page has the full list.

Do your caregivers provide medical care?

No. Our care is non-medical. Caregivers can remind clients when it's time to take medication, but they do not give it. They also don't perform nursing tasks. If your loved one needs skilled care, we're glad to talk through what fits.

How much does care cost?

Our general starting rate is $35 per hour. Your exact rate depends on the hours, schedule and level of care needed. We confirm pricing with you during a free in-home visit, so there are no surprises.

How do we get started?

Call or text us, or send a message through our contact page. We'll talk about what your loved one needs, then set up a free in-home visit to meet in person and build a care plan. After that, we match you with a caregiver and schedule the first visit.

Where do you provide care?

We serve Indian Land, Fort Mill, Lancaster and surrounding South Carolina communities. We provide care in private homes and also at assisted living communities, so your loved one can have extra one-on-one support wherever they live.

Are your caregivers background-checked and trained?

Yes. Every caregiver passes a criminal background check and a drug screen before working with clients, and completes training with us before their first visit. We're a drug-free workplace.

Can we choose our caregiver, or change if it's not a good fit?

The right fit matters. We talk through the match with you before care begins, and if it isn't working, tell us. We'll work with you to find someone better suited.

Does Medicare or insurance pay for this?

Medicare generally does not cover non-medical home care, and our services are private pay. Some long-term care insurance policies do reimburse for in-home care, so check your policy or ask your insurer. We're happy to give you the information they ask for.

How do I reach you, and who answers?

We answer our own phone. Call or text (803) 619-6888, or email gracecaregivingsc@gmail.com. No call centers, no phone menus.

I'd like to work for Grace Caregiving. Are you hiring?

We're growing and looking for dependable, kind caregivers. Pay starts at $17 per hour. Visit our Careers page to apply. Employment is contingent on passing a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Still have a question?

We answer our own phone. Reach out any time.
